About Elements Building Specialties

Family-owned in Teton Valley since 2008, helping builders, designers, and homeowners select, plan, install, and support the right appliances.

Our story

A family-owned business in the Tetons

The Fritsch family, owners of Elements Building Specialties in Driggs, Idaho

We’re Bill and Jessica Fritsch, owners of Elements Building Specialties. We moved to Teton Valley from the Salt Lake area in 2008 and have been building our business, our relationships, and our life here ever since.

Today, we’re proud to call Teton Valley home and to be raising our three boys here. As a family, we love spending time outdoors and taking advantage of everything the Tetons have to offer. This community is more than where we work. It’s where we’ve chosen to build our life and raise our family.

From the beginning, our business has grown the same way: one relationship and one project at a time. Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some of the area’s most respected builders, designers, developers, and homeowners, becoming a trusted resource for appliance selection, planning, installation, and support.

Living and working in a community like this has shaped the way we do business. Your reputation matters. You take care of people, show up when you say you will, pay attention to the details, and stand behind your work.

What we do

More than an appliance supplier

At Elements Building Specialties, we believe the appliance process should feel like a seamless part of the overall project.

We work closely with homeowners, builders, designers, and developers from the early planning stages through final installation and warranty follow-up. Whether it’s a custom home, condominium project, apartment development, or retirement community, we help make sure the right appliances are selected, specified, ordered, and installed at the right time.

We understand that on a building project, details matter. Dimensions matter. Specifications matter. Schedules matter. And clear communication between everyone involved can make all the difference.

Our job is to make that part of the process easier.

A local company you can count on

After nearly two decades in Teton Valley, we understand the homes being built here, the people building them, and the level of service our clients expect.

Elements is a family-owned, local company, and we take pride in being involved from the first conversation through installation and beyond. We want our clients to know who they’re working with and feel confident that when they need something, we’ll be here.

For us, it has always been about doing good work, taking care of people, and building relationships that last.

The quality philosophy

We carry six brands, not sixty

Most of our competitors carry everything. It's the easy way to run a showroom: stock every line and sell whatever walks out the door. We went the other direction, and it's the most important decision we've made.

We carry a short list on purpose. Every brand on it earned its place by holding up in real houses, over years we watched, with a warranty record we trust. And we've walked away from brands that stopped meeting that standard. We hear it from the techs before we hear it from the marketing department, and when a line's service record slips, we drop it. We'd rather sell a smaller list we'll defend than a big one we can't.

That's the whole philosophy. We only put our name on what we're willing to stand behind after the sale, not just before it.

Plan review

The part nobody else bothers with

The thing we're proudest of doesn't show up on an invoice. It's the hour spent reading a set of plans and catching the refrigerator door that opens into the island, the hood that can't move the air the range produces, the coffee system roughed in without a water line.

Those are the mistakes that get designed in months early and discovered on install day, and they're expensive. We've placed enough appliances in enough kitchens to see them coming, and we flag them while they're still free to fix. Architects design beautiful spaces. We make sure the appliances actually work in them.
